Failure to do so may result in you arriving for your session and us being unable to treat. For hygiene reasons, please do not bring the patient for treatment if they have eye or ear discharge, gastric upset, skin infections or any other infectious conditions as it would not be prudent to proceed with their treatment until the condition has resolved. Owners are requested to groom their dog prior to the session to remove any excess hair. We would kindly ask that you take the patient for a toilet break prior to the session so that they may relieve themselves ensuring that all waste is picked and deposited in the nearest suitable bin, not left outside the Centre. Please ensure that the patient is kept on a lead at all times unless instructed by the Hydrotherapist. When you arrive for your routine appointments, as we may be finishing up with other dogs, please wait by your car and we will come out and collect your dog when we are ready for them. We do treat some reactive dogs and if there are people stood in the foyer with dogs waiting to get in and out, it can be a little overcrowded and can cause distress to any reactive dog. Please note that during the hydrotherapy sessions owners bring various different types of treats. Peanut butter may be used at either your dog’s session (with the owner’s consent), or may have been used in previous sessions during the day. Although best efforts are used to remove traces of peanuts or other allergens, this may not always be successful. If you have an allergy or intolerance to peanuts or any other food which may be used during hydrotherapy sessions, please advise us immediately and certainly prior to entering the building. |
